Palette Switcher: was developed for Autodesk Architectural Desktop 2005. The client requested a way to centralize their Palettes on a common server, organized by Discipline and Project Name. This ensures all Collaboration on a Project utilizes Common Tools, and that the tools will be available in the future upon revisiting legacy designs.

Key Benefits:

The Tool Palette Manager allows the Current User to select a Discipline to show a list of Available Palettes. The Current User can either Switch to a selected Palette, or Append the selected Palette to their existing Palettes. The Current User can also choose to Clone an existing Palette.

The Tool Palette Clone allows the Current User to Clone an existing Palette to a new Palette Directory with a new Palette Name. The Current User can choose to Switch to the Cloned Palette, or Append the Cloned Palette to their existing Palettes.

The Tool Palette Removal Tool allows the Current User to remove existing Palettes. The Current User can choose multiple Palettes for removal in one pass. The selected Palette(s) are removed from the interface, and the Palette directories are preserved.
